4.39 | Smoking and Use of Tobacco Products
4.39.A | No tobacco products, including smokeless tobacco (e.g., vapes, nicotine pouches, chew, and hookahs), legal or illegal smoking products, will be allowed inside university buildings or on university property. This includes the use of these products in personal vehicles while on campus. Possession, purchase, or consumption of tobacco products under the age of 21 is illegal under Texas Health and Safety Code 161.252. Evidence of use, such as possession of tobacco containers or delivery devices, will be considered a violation of this rule. Violations of this nature may be referred to the Office of Community Standards for adjudication through the Student Conduct process.
